About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our Data Engineering team. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will work closely with the rest of the team to help model and maintain the Data Platform. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining ELT/ETL data pipelines from various data sources.
  • Serving hands-on delivery of data models using solid software engineering practices.
  • Managing overall pipeline orchestration using Airflow (hosted in Cloud Composer).
  • Collaborating with team members to reinforce best practices across the platform.
  • Helping to implement data governance policies, including data quality standards, data access control, and data classification.

We use a range of tools and technologies, including Apache Airflow, dbt Cloud, Docker, Cloud Build, dbt, Looker, and Looker Studio. We are looking for someone with experience in these tools and a willingness to learn and adapt.
