Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our hybrid team in Alicante. As a key facilitator, you will guide our highly skilled cross-functional teams in developing new features for our Cybersecurity product using Scrum methodologies. You will foster collaboration with developers from Poland and Denmark within fully integrated Scrum teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with Product Owners and Development Teams to further develop our product by encouraging and supporting teams to self-manage their iterations.
- Help build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame or judgment, with an emphasis on problem-solving.
- Ensure teams are compliant with the Scrum framework by providing training to team members and other parts of the organization, as well as facilitating Scrum ceremonies within sprints.
- Help teams work efficiently by identifying blockers and supporting impediment removal, and work together with other Scrum Masters to identify and minimize the impact of cross-team dependencies.
- Assist Product Owners in finding an efficient way to manage the product backlog.
Requirements
- Higher IT education, such as a graduate or master's degree.
- 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master working in distributed teams, preferably within product development.
- Excellent understanding and hands-on experience of various agile software development frameworks, such as Scrum and Kanban, as well as XP practices.
- Understanding of scaled agile frameworks (SAFe or Nexus) and development background is an additional advantage.
- Fluent in English, both in oral and written communication.
