Lead Solution Architect Specialist

As a key player in enhancing the Enterprise Architecture capability within the MPN & Cloud technology portfolio, this role encompasses significant responsibilities, including the Vodafone-Kyndryl Virtual Joint Venture, Public Cloud Resale, and Multi-Edge Computing initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities and Authority:
- Develop and sustain architecture evaluations and frameworks for solutions, outlining the roadmaps for their intended future states within the information systems and technology architecture realms.
- Document, share, and promote Architecture best practices while fostering and nurturing relationships with various Architecture sectors within Vodafone.
- Offer expert guidance to product and solution architects/designers who are engaged in the Cloud & Edge Architecture or utilizing it for customer solutions.
- Formulate a cross-technology architecture strategy by establishing working groups focused on enterprise product and business system technologies.
- Evaluate and authorize Kyndryl architecture and designs as proposed within the Virtual Joint Venture.
Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
- A self-driven individual with robust leadership, communication, and influencing capabilities (up to C-Level), adept at building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with business users and stakeholders across all levels.
- Over 5 years of experience in a technology organization in a comparable role, overseeing end-to-end solution development and assurance while leading matrix teams.
- Profound understanding and practical experience in applying Architecture frameworks and methodologies.
- Proven track record in formulating strategies and future state architectures across various domain areas.
- Experience in implementing and adapting architectural techniques across multiple delivery methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile, DevOps).
- Possession of a degree-level qualification.
- Preferred technical/professional certifications: TOGAF, TM Forum standards (e.g., ODA), ITIL, SAFe, etc.
