At Emburse, we're seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer III to contribute to the development of our innovative system solutions. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll have the opportunity to enhance the experiences of our customers, solve complex challenges, and design new solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of large areas of our codebase, ensuring self-sufficiency and expertise in multiple languages and technologies.
  • Mastery of multiple programming languages, frameworks, and tools, with a focus on developing and maintaining high-quality code.
  • Identify and present viable alternative solutions, leveraging your understanding of relational databases, development frameworks, and industry-standard libraries.
  • Develop and implement unit testing and integration testing techniques, ensuring the highest level of quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with the team to understand product roadmaps and contribute to the overall objectives, prioritizing tasks and delivering high-quality results.
  • Stay up-to-date with secure software development practices, reviewing code for vulnerabilities and promoting secure programming practices.
  • Develop new features and enhancements with minimal supervision, delivering medium-level refactoring and producing high-quality technical documentation.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the team, providing constructive feedback and guidance to team members.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent years of experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of software development experience, with a strong understanding of various design patterns and OOP paradigms.
  • Experience in RESTful API design and security, with knowledge of at least one OOP language.
