About the Role
Palo Alto Networks is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Technical Support organization, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional support to our customers, ensuring their success with our products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 3 level technical support to customers and partners, resolving complex technical issues and providing expert-level guidance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Development, Sales, and Marketing, to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including knowledge base articles and technical support bulletins.
- Participate in on-call duties and provide 24/7 support as needed.
- Contribute to the development of new products and services, providing input on technical requirements and feasibility.
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluent knowledge of English.
- Previous experience in a technical support environment, with a strong background in cybersecurity and networking.
- Expert-level knowledge of threat landscapes, technologies, and techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug complex technical issues.
- Experience with security products, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP, PKI, and SSL.
- Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
