This role is part of the Motion Renewables Services team, focusing on the Wind segment in Spain. As a Technical Sales Support Specialist for Wind Services, you will collaborate with the Renewables Sales organization and customers throughout the proposal process.
Your Key Responsibilities
1. Determine the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions for customers, preparing demanding offers in collaboration with the local Sales organization.
2. Prepare and support the preparation of technical/commercial offers based on customer specification requirements, local business/feeder factory indications, and Sales organization directives.
3. Analyze customer needs and competitor offers through market information and Sales organization insights.
4. Define costs for proposed solutions and communicate them to the Sales organization.
5. Follow up on opportunities together with the sales organization.
6. Collaborate with global service excellence centers in the continuous development of new services.
Qualifications for the Role
A Bachelor or Technical degree in Electrical/Electronics engineering or Professional Module (FP2). 2 years of experience in the wind energy market. Experience in technical or sales aspects of design, commissioning, or maintenance of electrical systems of wind turbines. Knowledge of AC/DC drives technology and industrial communications is required. Also appreciated: sound knowledge of and/or hands-on experience in servicing, maintaining, commissioning, and repairing ABB or other brand drives for all types of industries and applications. Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, standard quotation platforms, and standard customer relationship management software. A proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships. Proven leadership skills, with a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills. Fluent in Spanish and good command of English, both written and spoken. Current car driving license (type B) valid in Spain as well as a specific VISA/work permit for Spain.
