Bax Innovation Consulting is an innovation consultancy that empowers changemakers by transforming innovative ideas into tangible impact. International Traineeship ProgrammeOur International Traineeship Programme is designed for German-speaking candidates passionate about innovation in mobility, energy, and circularity. This programme offers a unique opportunity to start your career with an immersive experience in our Barcelona head office, followed by hands-on project work in our new German office in Düsseldorf.
The Traineeship lasts seven months, with the potential for a full-time Junior Consultant role in Düsseldorf, provided there is a mutual fit both professionally and personally.
Programme Structure- Phase 1 – Immersion in Barcelona (6 months): Get immersed in the company culture and learn from our local team specialising in mobility, energy, and circularity. Work closely with a local mentor to gain first-hand project experience. Participate in training sessions to develop your skills in innovation and related technologies.
- Phase 2 – Integration in Düsseldorf (1 month): Transfer to our new German office in Düsseldorf to work on primarily German projects in mobility, energy, and circularity. Collaborate with the head of the German office on national funding programmes and other initiatives. Apply the knowledge and experience gained in Barcelona to real-world projects in Germany.
- Project Support: Assist in the development and execution of innovation initiatives funded by EU-wide and national programmes.
- Impact Assessment: Support the evaluation of economic, environmental, and societal impacts of innovative projects in mobility, energy, and circularity.
- Business Model Development: Help create business models and strategies for the introduction and adoption of new solutions.
- Industry Engagement: Participate in industry events and conferences to stay updated on the latest trends.
- A positive, entrepreneurial corporate culture.
- Emphasis on work-life balance.
- Mentorship and hands-on training in Barcelona and Düsseldorf.
- A clear pathway to a Junior Consultant role in Düsseldorf, provided there is a mutual fit.
- Education: MSc Master's degree in a field related to mobility, energy, circularity, or business.
- Experience: 0-2 years of professional experience in related sectors, ideally focused on innovation.
- Language Proficiency: High level (C2) German speaker with fluency in English, both written and oral. Proficiency in Dutch or other EU languages is advantageous.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to craft persuasive arguments and translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-friendly language.
- Soft skills: Strong independence and a self-starter. Professional communication skills when interacting with partners and clients. Ability to lead discussions and conduct public presentations effectively.
