About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Ventures Analyst to join our team at Empresa reconocida. As a key member of our innovation program, you will play a critical role in sourcing new startups, managing our ventures' program, and conducting diligence and investment research.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Sourcing New Startups
  • Identify and source startups for our respective vertical programs
  • Attend calls and meetings with relevant companies to build relationships and stay informed about industry trends
  • Network with startup founders at industry events and conferences to expand our pipeline
Ventures' Program Management
  • Schedule and facilitate deal flow meetings between startups and corporate partners
  • Curate startup lists for corporate partners based on their technology interests
  • Maintain relationships with industry partners to ensure a strong network
Diligence/Investment Research
  • Support Investment Partners on the full lifecycle of making investments, including conducting diligence and making investment recommendations
  • Develop an investment thesis on emerging trends and frontiers to inform our investment decisions
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree required; MBA/advanced degree is a plus
  2. Excellent communication skills in English
  3. Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically, analytically, and creatively
  4. Highly organized, with a proven track record of meeting tight deadlines and maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  5. Proficiency in Google Docs, MS Office, CRMs, project management tools, and intermediate spreadsheet experience
  6. Fluency in Arabic is a plus
