Your Day at NTT DATA

As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient and scalable API RESTful systems using Python and JavaScript. You will collaborate with designers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure a seamless integration of system components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain applications using Python for the backend and JavaScript for the frontend.
  • Design and implement efficient and scalable API RESTful systems.
  • Collaborate with designers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure a seamless integration of system components.
  • Integrate with relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Write and maintain unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality.
  • Investigate and apply best practices and new technologies in backend and frontend development.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience in backend development with Python (Django, Flask, or similar frameworks).
  • Experience in frontend development with JavaScript (React, Angular, Vue.js, or similar libraries).
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
  • Teamwork experience.
Desirable
  • Experience with Docker and containerization technologies.
  • Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices.
  • Experience in microservices development.
  • Knowledge of web security practices and data protection.
  • Familiarity with testing and debugging tools (e.g., PyTest, Jasmine).
