YOUR ROLE

➔ Spearhead the design, development, and implementation of groundbreaking and nutritionally enhanced products in the market, while refining manufacturing processes as needed.

➔ Oversee R&D initiatives from initial prototyping to full-scale implementation, emphasizing processing. This includes:

◆ Innovating and developing manufacturing processes to bring new products to market.

◆ Analyzing, optimizing, and enhancing existing processes.

◆ Evaluating the capabilities of potential new manufacturing partners.

◆ Collaborating early in the product concept and design phases to grasp essential design principles and determine optimal processes.

◆ Effectively communicating process designs.

◆ Building strong relationships with equipment manufacturers.

◆ Documenting and presenting results through comprehensive reports and presentations.

◆ Promoting a collaborative learning atmosphere.

◆ Traveling up to 30% for Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and plant trials.

➔ Act as a processing expert and advisor within the Product Development team, serving as a key R&D liaison for Operations.

➔ Represent R&D in cross-functional project meetings, ensuring adherence to our internal governance processes.

➔ Maintain thorough Knowledge Management throughout.

Requirements

YOU WILL EXCEL IN THIS POSITION IF YOU

➔ Are passionate about our mission and view it as a personal challenge to address professionally.

➔ Hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related process engineering field.

➔ Have over 7 years of experience in a food process manufacturing setting, with extrusion experience being advantageous.

➔ Possess expertise in process engineering and design.

➔ Have a track record of commercializing new food processing technologies across multiple manufacturing sites.

➔ Demonstrate experience in optimizing existing manufacturing workflows.

➔ Have led projects from concept through validation, including equipment specification, installation, commissioning, qualification, and verification.

➔ Are knowledgeable in sanitary design, food processing, as well as HACCP and other food production standards.

➔ Exhibit strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to problem-solving.

➔ Are fluent in English.

➔ Thrive in a diverse and dynamic team environment.

➔ Are comfortable navigating ambiguity and change.
