About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced back-end developer to join our R&D department in Spain. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and testing security solutions based on self-sovereign identity, with a focus on integration with identity and access management products through proofs of concept.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and test back-end solutions using Kotlin, Java, Microservices, and REST APIs, Swagger
  • Participate in Agile software development lifecycles (e.g. Scrum) and contribute to user stories definition, component design, and development, testing, and deployment of systems
  • Utilize Continuous Integration/Continuous Development tools for automated testing and deployment pipelines, including Docker
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve project goals and objectives

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional experience with back-end development, implementation, testing, and integration
  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • Self-starter, proactive, and autonomous character
  • Good skills for teamwork and willingness to learn new technical concepts and techniques

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with OpenID protocols, Spring/Spring Boot, and cryptographic libraries
  • Knowledge of digital identities, particularly Self-Sovereign Identity (e.g. Hyperledger Aries/Indy, IOTA...) and federated/mobile identity protocols (OIDC, OAuth 2.0, FIDO...), PKI certificates
  • Some experience with Kubernetes, Sonarqube, Jenkins, Rancher...
