About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Leader, Logistics Operations to join our Amazon Logistics team. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in supporting the growth and success of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leverage Amazon Logistics metrics to identify cost optimization opportunities by linking up operations and financials.
  • Understand the details of the cost structure to make informed judgment calls in ambiguous environments where data may be difficult to procure.
  • Build trusted partnerships with the business to influence and support tactical and strategic business decisions promoting business improvements and cost reductions.
  • Communicate data (both written and verbal) in a clear, concise, and unambiguous manner. Your communications drive critical business actions.
  • Identify risks, evaluate impact, propose changes, and implement improvements to remediate gaps.
  • Identify opportunities and lead projects to streamline processes and reports.
  • Supervise and own the Financial and operational planning processes to produce a challenging/stretch/bold yet solid operational plan.
  • Supervise and own all Month-end procedures including accruals and variance analysis between scenarios (actuals, Plan, Forecast...).
