About the Role

SSE plc is a leading energy company committed to a low-carbon future. As part of our ambitious growth strategy, we are seeking a skilled Portfolio Reporting Specialist to support our European business in achieving our Net Zero commitments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Leadership Team and Country Managers to ensure efficient portfolio management, particularly in development phases and internal approval processes.
  • Support the PMO Senior Manager for Southern Europe in gathering and preparing essential business reporting materials.
  • Contribute to the successful execution of project work by providing guidance and assistance to local teams across different approval streams.
  • Monitor business key indicators and assist the management team in implementing agreed-upon actions within committees.
  • Enhance systems and processes for generating management information and reports.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar Reporting or Analytical role, preferably in the Renewable Energy sector or a relevant project development environment.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with fluency in both written and spoken English and Spanish (at least B2 level) to present to Senior Management and Stakeholders.
  • Abilities in continuous improvement and project management, showcasing proactive and innovative approaches as an independent contributor and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Familiarity with Office Package & Programming tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Power BI.
  • Willingness to undertake local and international travel as necessary for project-related purposes.
