Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and dynamic Plastics Procurement Specialist to join our team in Spain. As a key member of our purchasing team, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing purchasing strategies for virgin, off-grade, recycled, and scrap plastics.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute purchasing strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective material delivery.
- Coordinate logistics with our head office to ensure seamless material flow.
- Identify and recruit new suppliers in Spain and potentially Portugal, building strong relationships for recurring business.
- Recommend future business strategies by analyzing market trends and industry players.
- 1-3 years of experience in international trade/purchasing.
- Knowledge of the polymers industry, with specific experience in the trading market being a plus.
- Proficiency in using a CRM system and Google Suite.
- Self-directed, organized, and demonstrated ability to develop long-term business relationships.
- Language proficiency: Spanish and English (language of work); additional languages such as French, Dutch, or others are a plus.
- Compensation in accordance with V.I.E standards.
- Equipment and tools (laptop, work phone).
