About the Role

Datawords - Datasia is seeking a highly skilled In-House Italian Translator and Content Specialist to join our Multilingual Team in Barcelona. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for translating and producing high-quality content in Italian, as well as working closely with our existing Italian team and project coordinators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate and edit a wide variety of content in Italian, including website materials, subtitles, and other multimedia content.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on translated content to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Collaborate with our Italian team and project coordinators to ensure seamless project coordination and translation.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Translation Studies, Audiovisual Translation, or a related field.
  • Native-level proficiency in Italian, with high-level proficiency in English and French.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with a strong understanding of terminology and style guides.
  • Strong adaptability and ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and CAT tools (Trados or others).
  • Previous experience in copywriting is highly desirable.
