Position Overview

As a Senior People Operations Specialist, you will serve as the local authority on people operations, delivering expert advice to employees, business leaders, Strategic People & Culture Business Partners, and global Centers of Excellence on various human resource topics pertinent to the specific market.

Your role will involve managing tier 2 level escalations in people operations inquiries, effectively addressing employee concerns.

As part of the Global People and Culture team, we are experiencing significant transformations in processes and technology, and you will play a crucial role in supporting the rollout of People & Culture initiatives while driving ongoing enhancements in people operations services and advocating for employee experience initiatives in collaboration with the Workplace Experience and Employee Experience teams.

  • Offer expert counsel on people-related matters tailored to the local market for employees, business leaders, HR Business Partners, and global People & Culture Centers of Excellence.
  • Manage and resolve tier 2 escalations in people operations inquiries, ensuring prompt and effective resolutions.
  • Assist leaders with performance enablement strategies, providing seamless guidance on performance enhancement and coaching managers on company values and behaviors.
  • Facilitate the implementation of People & Culture initiatives, including recruitment, compensation, and talent development locally, ensuring alignment with global strategies and local market requirements.
  • Proactively address employee inquiries related to people operations, providing support and solutions to improve the employee experience.
  • Contribute to the continuous enhancement of people operations services by identifying improvement opportunities and implementing best practices.
  • Collaborate with local site leadership on People & Culture activities, ensuring alignment and effective communication.
  • Promote employee experience initiatives in partnership with the Workplace Experience and Employee Experience teams, fostering a positive and engaging workplace culture.
  • Ensure adherence to local labor laws and regulations, maintaining accurate records and documentation as necessary.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to the Director of Global People Operations, highlighting key activities, challenges, and accomplishments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in HR or people operations, with a focus on providing expert guidance and managing escalations. Experience in a multinational organization is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of local labor laws and regulations.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
