Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Resident Automation Technician to join our team in Barbastro, Spain. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of complex systems at our client's plant, with a focus on maintenance and technical support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform corrective maintenance and troubleshooting activities on equipment to ensure efficiency.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance activities in accordance with maintenance plans.
  • Report on system performance and performed activities to the Customer and the Company.
  • Build and maintain a strong relationship between the Customer and the Company based on trust, daily commitment, technical results, and equipment reliability.
  • Organize periodic meetings on system performance with the Customer's representatives.
  • Conduct periodic on-the-job training for the Customer's personnel.
  • Promote improvement activities, modifications, and extensions to the system or equipment, co-supervised by the Direct Manager and in agreement with the Area Manager.
  • Manage spare parts on-site, suggesting reorder points and purchases as needed.
  • Organize and manage the maintenance area, tools, and equipment available from the company and/or the Customer.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in automation and maintenance, with excellent technical skills and a customer-focused approach. You will also need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
