Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Field Service Technician to join our team at Avature. As a key member of our technical support team, you will provide technical assistance to customers in the installation and maintenance of packaging machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site customer services, including installations, preventative maintenance, audits, and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure accurate and timely service, audit, installation, and expense reports.
  • Conduct exit interviews with customers prior to leaving the job site.
  • Communicate directly with relevant personnel for issue resolution.
  • Complete expense reports at the conclusion of each job.
  • Follow WestRock and customer work/safety rules while on-site.
  • Train operators and mechanics in safe operation, changeovers, and PM procedures.
  • Complete FAT/PDI (acceptance testing) of machines as needed.
  • Organize, lead, and operational completion of significant machinery events.
Requirements
  • Technical degree preferred, but not required.
  • Previous field service work experience is essential.
  • Good personality for customer relations.
  • Strong mechanical abilities.
  • PC skills, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet navigation.
  • Ability to follow and comprehend basic programming structures.
  • Passport is required for international travel.
  • Ability to learn new technologies.
  • Willingness to follow strict safety guidelines.
Working Conditions
  • Regularly exposed to moving equipment, heat, and fumes.
  • Noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required for certain tasks.
