We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cyber Security Trainee to join our team at BASF. As a Cyber Security Trainee, you will play a critical role in protecting our IT and OT systems from cyber threats and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of cyber security controls and procedures to prevent and detect cyber threats.
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cyber security awareness programs and training initiatives.
- Participate in incident response and crisis management activities to ensure timely and effective response to cyber security incidents.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging cyber threats and trends, and provide recommendations for improving our cyber security posture.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of cyber security frameworks and regulations, such as NIST and ISO 27001.
