Job Title: Python Full-Stack Developer

At Ideematec, we are seeking a highly skilled Python Full-Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. As a pioneering solar technology company, we are committed to innovation and excellence in the field of renewable energies.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented Python Full-Stack Developer to work closely with our Team leader Automatization and Digitalization inside the Tracker Simulation department. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Python, experience with GUI development using Qt, and a solid understanding of database systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop end-to-end software applications for solar tracker simulation to enhance high-speed design workflows.
  • Migrate existing engineering tools to a fully Python-based desktop application.
  • Create database schemas that support business processes and develop robust Front-End (GUI) and Back-End systems.
  • Maintain and update existing databases, document software solutions and processes, and create user manuals.
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain and update existing engineering tools according to the latest status of design guidelines based on national standards and customer requirements.
Requirements:
  • Strong skills in Python, with a proven track record of using the language in professional projects.
  • Experience with GUI development using Qt and a solid understanding of database systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Spanish and English, with the ability to communicate effectively with executives and technical stakeholders.
Desirable Competences:
  • Experience with C++ language and knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Good knowledge of mechanical engineering and previous experience in the solar sector.
