PROJECT OVERVIEW
This role invites you to leverage your expertise and ambition within one of the largest and most rapidly expanding global business travel management firms, operating in nearly 100 countries.
Step into the dynamic realm of travel, within a startup environment backed by a major group (specifically Australian).
The company has recently revitalized a 15+ year legacy Salesforce platform. The next step is to enhance value by empowering business through technology while further globalizing personnel and processes.
Salesforce is pivotal to the organization, and your expertise is essential for this global initiative and the development of a Robust SALESFORCE Team.
YOUR ROLE
As a Salesforce Developer, you will be instrumental in optimizing the Salesforce platform to fulfill business requirements and deliver outstanding user experiences.
- Salesforce Design and Development Leadership: Collaborate with Solution Architects and the Development team to ensure comprehensive oversight, guidance, and governance (framework, tools, strategy, optimization, and security).
- Salesforce Development: Design, develop, test, and implement Salesforce solutions tailored to business needs.
- Transformation Initiatives: Actively engage in transformational projects aimed at enhancing processes and maximizing Salesforce capabilities.
- Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC): Manage code versioning, conduct code reviews, and ensure the quality and security of all Salesforce development.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- DevOps Management: Collaborate with the Development team to optimize deployment processes, automate workflows, and ensure continuous integration and delivery.
- System Integration: Integrate Salesforce with external systems and applications, ensuring smooth data flow and interoperability.
- Technical Support: Provide L3 technical support to the L1/L2 support team for more complex issues.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of technical specifications, configurations, and customizations to promote knowledge sharing and efficient project management.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Salesforce development, focusing on customizations and complex projects.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs. Familiarity with additional programming languages is advantageous.
- Exceptional communication skills: Ability to adapt to various audiences.
- Comfortable with DevOps principles.
