Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Category Manager to join our team in France and Iberia. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing category strategies, leading procurement strategies, and managing stakeholders across functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement category strategies to drive business growth and improve profitability
- Lead procurement strategies to ensure effective sourcing and supply chain management
- Initiate and lead regional sourcing processes to identify and engage with new suppliers
- Craft negotiation strategies and close deals to secure the best possible terms
- Develop, negotiate, and manage procurement contracts to ensure compliance and risk management
- Manage stakeholders across functions to ensure effective communication and collaboration
- Troubleshoot cost, quality, and delivery concerns to ensure timely resolution
- Establish and update an approved supplier panel to ensure quality and reliability
Requirements
- University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or Supply Chain
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position in the industrial sector
- Fluency in English, French, and Spanish (Portuguese, German, or Italian are advantageous)
- Proficiency in Office
- Willingness to travel up to 30-40% in France, Spain, and Portugal
- Excellent soft skills, business intelligence, and work ethics
- Ability to work with self-responsibility and influential capabilities
