We are seeking a seasoned engineer specializing in load assessment to become a vital part of our team. In this position, you will take charge of various load-related activities to support the serial turbines utilizing concrete and hybrid tower technologies, ensuring their optimal performance throughout their operational life.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conducting root cause analysis for any general field-related issues
  • Proactively identifying feasible solutions in a timely and cost-efficient manner
  • Executing load calculations tailored to specific site conditions
  • Documenting findings and evaluations in comprehensive technical reports
  • Assisting in certification processes or claims-related tasks
  • Enhancing controller functionalities and contributing to the design of various components within a multidisciplinary team
  • Engaging in project work following the Nordex project management framework
  • Facilitating the ongoing development and enhancement of tools and methodologies based on insights gained from field experiences

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Master's degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field with a focus on dynamics and simulation
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in comparable roles
  • Familiarity with recognized standards such as IEC 61400 and DIBt
  • Professional experience with aerodynamic simulation software like Bladed, Alaska, HawcStab, Flex5
  • Strong understanding of dynamic simulations of complex systems in industrial applications, particularly in fatigue analysis methodologies, emphasizing field support topics such as troubleshooting and complex phenomenon analysis
  • Additional skills in general analysis software (MATLAB, R, etc.), structural mechanics, automation tools, and knowledge of tower structural calculations (steel and concrete) are advantageous
  • Excellent team player with outstanding interpersonal skills and strong communication abilities
  • Adaptability and dynamism in task execution
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in German or Spanish is a plus
