Job Description
We are seeking a talented and highly motivated computer programmer to join our research team within the framework of various research projects, mainly the ERC Consolidator grant EARLY-ADAPT. The team is at the forefront of environmental epidemiology, analyzing a novel database of human health in Europe, incorporating environmental, socioeconomic, and demographic variables, and novel digital data streams at different spatiotemporal scales.
Key Responsibilities
The main duty of the chosen candidate is to contribute to the creation of a new research database. Key responsibilities include:
- Searching for and downloading open access data sources.
- Implementing harmonization protocols for successful data integration.
- Writing and running scripts to transform data into a common data format.
- Interacting with scientists to adapt data to their scientific needs.
