About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Catalan Localization QA Tester / Proofreader to join our team at Welocalize. As a key member of our localization team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our translated content.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough testing of localization projects to identify bugs and errors
  • Report defects via our internal bug-tracking system and verify fixes once implemented
  • Collaborate with our development team to resolve issues and improve our translation processes
  • Utilize your linguistic expertise to review and edit translated content for accuracy and consistency
Requirements
  • Native-level fluency in Catalan (grammar, vocabulary, composition, punctuation)
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Experience working in translation and localization
  • Technical skills, including proficiency in testing web-based systems and applications on Mac OS X and iOS
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

  • A competitive hourly flat rate of $28
  • A flexible part-time schedule, Monday to Friday, within the 9 am to 5 pm time range
