About this role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team at Global Savings Group. As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining data solutions to manage and convert multiple data sources into actionable intelligence.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop performant data models and ETL/ELT processes using AWS services such as S3, EMR, EC2, Glue, Kinesis, Athena, and Lambda functions.
  • Write scalable, efficient, and thoroughly tested code to ensure Quality, Reliability, and Accuracy of Data Products.
  • Manage data flows and data engineering solutions to process large, complex, and disparate datasets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop data-driven products.
Your Profile:
  • You have experience with ETL/ELT development, data flows, and processing data at scale.
  • You are familiar with implementing services and solutions in the realm of Big Data, Analytics, or Data Engineering, with proficiency in Cloud Platforms.
  • You have strong experience with Python, Scala, and/or Java, and are knowledgeable about relational and non-relational databases and advanced query authoring (SQL and NoSQL).
  • You have a strong understanding of data visualization best practices with BI tools such as Apache Superset, Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.
