**Job Summary**

We're seeking a highly skilled Fire Protection Engineer to join our MEP team. As a Fire Protection Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing fire detection, fire suppression, and emergency signaling systems for our clients. Your expertise will ensure the safe, comfortable, and environmentally friendly operation of buildings.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Design fire detection, fire suppression, and emergency signaling systems equipment and procedures in accordance with governing codes and industry best practices.
  • Create fire detection and emergency signaling system design and layout plans, schematics, equipment specifications, supporting design calculations, system narratives, and construction specifications.
  • Develop fire suppression system design criteria, specifications, and layouts, preliminary hydraulic calculations, fire pump selection specifications, and fire detection system integration.
  • Design special hazard fire protection systems, including aspirating and beam-type smoke detection, video imaging detection, flame detection, suppression system monitoring and control, and smoke control system integration.
  • Integrate life safety and building services systems to comply with applicable codes, standards, and system operating objectives.
