Job Summary
RWE Renewables Iberia S.A.U. is seeking a highly skilled Renewable Energy Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for the comprehensive management of renewable energy projects from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Opportunity Identification: Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify new locations and opportunities for the development of renewable energy projects, focusing on wind and energy storage.
- Feasibility Analysis: Conduct technical and economic feasibility studies, including resource analysis, environmental impact assessments, and financial viability evaluations.
- Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and oversee all phases of the project, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and quality standards are met.
- Stakeholder Relations: Collaborate with local governments, regulators, communities, and other key stakeholders to ensure support and compliance with local regulations.
- Proposal Development: Prepare comprehensive proposals and presentations for investors, executives, and other stakeholders.
- Technical Supervision: Coordinate the engineering and construction of projects, ensuring that deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Track project progress and provide regular reports on status, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements:
- Education: Degree in Engineering (preferably in Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or similar fields).
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in developing renewable energy projects in Spain, with a solid track record of successfully completed projects.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with renewable technologies, resource analysis, and power generation systems.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of Spanish regulations regarding renewable energy and infrastructure development.
- Management Skills: Advanced project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Languages: Proficiency in Spanish and, preferably, a good level of English.
- Other Competencies: Excellent communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and strong results orientation.
Working Conditions:
- Contract Type: Full-time.
- Travel Availability: National travel is required, depending on project locations.
- Compensation: Competitive, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
