Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineer to join our team and lead the development of our L2 chain. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing open-source frameworks, optimizing sequencer performance, and selecting strategic service providers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in blockchain protocol development and a passion for exploring the intersection of frontier technology and financial concepts. You will be working in a fast-paced environment with a lean and geographically distributed team of around 20 members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the architecture and design of our L2 chain, including open-source frameworks and sequencer performance tuning
  • Meaningfully differentiate the chain from existing L2s through native yield, custom gas tokens, and performance optimizations
  • Lead key development milestones, including internal and external devnets, through to public launch
