**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Intralogistics Design Engineer to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our design engineering team, you will be responsible for designing high-quality, cost-effective solutions for our fulfillment and distribution systems.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to design and develop innovative logistics solutions
- Own multiple projects simultaneously, from concept realization through design approval
- Act as the primary point of technical contact for suppliers and stakeholders
- Work closely with the Ops Engineering team to ensure successful installation and commissioning of projects
- Support the development of green-fields, brown-fields, and retrofits, including highly automated fulfillment centers, cross-dock facilities, and transportation centers
**Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any discipline) or foreign equivalent
- Experience in Design/Innovation Engineering, Manufacturing/Process/Industrial Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record of owning and managing engineering design projects
- Proficiency in business/technical software, including MS Excel, MS Project, and CAD software
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Master's degree in Engineering (any discipline) or foreign equivalent, Operations, Business Administration, or related field
- At least five years of progressively responsible experience in the specialty
- Experience with complex automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, robotics, and/or high-speed manufacturing
- Proficiency in process design based on Lean Principles
