Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Networking & Security Infrastructure Engineer to enhance our Networking & Security Infrastructure Team within the Cloud & Tech Foundation Tribe at ING.
Work Environment:
This role is pivotal in managing our IT network and security infrastructure, ensuring that we deliver top-notch services to both internal and external clients. Our team thrives on collaboration and is dedicated to achieving results that align with the needs of our stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Networking & Security Infrastructure Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining the IT platform by operating, monitoring, and resolving incidents or requests, along with other management tasks.
- Developing automated solutions to improve internal processes.
- Ensuring the availability of public services through on-call support and incident resolution.

- Excellent analytical skills, capable of conveying complex analyses to non-technical audiences.
- In-depth knowledge of IT Security and Network infrastructure.
- Proven experience in firewall administration (preferably Fortinet & PaloAlto).
- Experience with router and switch administration (preferably Cisco & Aruba).
- Experience in load balancer administration (preferably F5).
- Experience with wireless solutions administration (preferably Cisco & Aruba).
- Familiarity with the CyberArk platform is advantageous.
- Proficiency in scripting/API and development skills in Python or other modern programming languages for task automation.
