Position Overview

Are you an experienced Disaster Recovery Analyst eager to enhance organizational resilience and contribute to a leading reinsurance firm?

In this role, you will collaborate with a diverse group of skilled professionals dedicated to managing IT Resilience for essential systems and data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement cyber recovery strategies, including testing methodologies, restoration protocols, and rebuilding procedures, to ensure the integrity of systems and data across business applications and infrastructure.
  • Oversee and evaluate testing operations, ensuring thorough cyber recovery for critical IT systems.
  • Create clear reporting mechanisms for timely updates on resilience initiatives to relevant stakeholders.
  • Analyze data systematically to identify and document resilience gaps, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Promote Cyber Recovery readiness by fostering a culture of preparedness through targeted training and engagement activities.

Team Dynamics:

Our team is responsible for developing and maintaining IT Continuity, Resilience, and Disaster Recovery capabilities to minimize the risk of unavailability and ensure prioritized recovery of Critical IT Services during significant disruptions, with minimal impact on essential business processes.

We ensure that these measures are effectively integrated within the organization, considering modern operating models and advanced technological environments.

Required Qualifications:

While no candidate is expected to meet every requirement, we welcome those who align with some of the criteria below and have a genuine interest in Disaster Recovery.

Essential Skills:

  • Comprehensive understanding of cyber disaster recovery methodologies, backup technologies, and immutability principles.
  • Extensive knowledge of IT operational environments, including network infrastructure, cloud technologies, and security protocols.
  • Proven experience in supporting cyber resilience initiatives aligned with best practices in IT operations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for effective stakeholder engagement at various organizational levels.
  • Capability to identify resilience shortcomings, review technical documentation, and provide guidance (both technical and non-technical).
  • Proficient command of English, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly to non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with DevOps, DevSecOps, Site Reliability Engineering, and cloud-based recovery solutions.
  • Experience with Isolated Recovery Environments (IREs) and a passion for Agile methodologies.
  • A proactive and resilient approach to problem-solving under pressure.
