**Job Summary**

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Reporting Specialist to support our Group Accounting manager and Shared Service Center in Barcelona. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting a company or group of companies for all financial questions, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and maintaining a second set of accounting books to ensure Statutory Reporting according to accounting local standards.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Monthly closing process & Reporting: Execute all accounting activities related to month, quarter, and year-end close, ensuring all tasks are completed in accordance with the closing procedures and group accounting rules.
  • Financial Analysis: Prepare, verify, and submit group reporting, including Balance Sheet control and liquidity planning.
  • Tax Compliance: Responsible for timely accomplishment of all company tax obligations and tax reporting.
  • Audit Process: Lead audit process with internal and external auditors, maintaining a second set of accounting books to ensure Statutory Reporting according to accounting local standards.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Balance Sheet and Cash budgeting and forecasting, supporting local controller on subsidiary planning, budgeting & forecasting process.

**Requirements**

  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar position.
  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Accounting.
  • Fluent in Spanish, English, and French or German.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Mastering SAP and MS Office, with knowledge in European accounting rules preferred.
