About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team at Page Personnel. As an Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for executing day-to-day transactions and journal entries, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements, and performing fixed assets processes.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Execute day-to-day transactions and journal entries in accordance with corporate policies.
  2. Ensure all aspects of the region's monthly financial statements are accurate and timely, inclusive of reconciliations, accruals, allocations, revenue reporting and recognition, prepaid expenses, journal entries, and variance analysis.
  3. Perform the fixed assets process, including creation, stock accounting, financial lease, depreciation, etc.
  4. Perform the monthly general ledger closing activities for the companies under management.
  5. Act as the first point of contact for required controls and actions taken for incidents in RTR tasks, ensuring adherence to accounting principles, approval workflows, and documentation issues.
  6. Support and deliver statutory / tax requirements and facilitate requested information for audits in the region.
  7. Work towards Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) objectives for the month.
  8. Ensure clear, effective upward feedback and reporting.
  9. Ensure compliance with operational accounting policies and procedures.
  10. Ensure the integrity of the financial accounting systems and controls under your management.

Requirements

  1. 3-5 years of experience in General Accounting & Finance.
  2. University Degree.
  3. Open to work in international environments.
  4. Working knowledge of core transactional Finance and Administration processes.
  5. English B2 and Spanish as business languages.
  6. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and develop relations at all levels.
  7. Flexibility and ownership.
  8. Team player in a multi-cultural environment.

Preferred Skills

  1. Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  2. Strong SAP Knowledge.
  3. Knowledge of Hyperion / HFM an advantage.
