About the Role:
Hitachi Vantara Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Product Group GPQSS Health, Safety, and Environment Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Grid Integration Business Unit, you will be responsible for ensuring the development and implementation of a suitable Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) management system across GPQSS, aligned to our Business Unit's strategic and operational management needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the development and implementation of a suitable HSE management system across GPQSS, aligned to Business Unit HSE strategic and operational management needs.
- Manage and support the GPQSS Global ISO certification program for the HSE-related parts.
- Lead the regional GPQSS HSE Managers community to develop suitable HSE Sustainability governance models, including internal audit programs, significant tools, and KPIs, specific training modules for the whole GPQSS organization.
- Act as the overall HSE Sustainability Manager for the Power Electronics GCoCs.
- Join the Business Unit HSE Sustainability team, participating, supporting, facilitating, implementing, and deploying strategic and tactical programs under the leadership of the Business Unit HSE function.
Requirements:
- University degree
- At least 10 years of experience in HSE
- Experience in project management, ideally at a global or regional level, preferably in the energy, power, or oil and gas industry
- Strong communication skills with the capability to effectively collaborate within and support matrixed leadership and cross-functional teams
- Knowledgeable of ISO, NEBOSH, and IOSH certifications
- Fluent in English
- Availability to travel (around 20%)
Location:
The candidate may be based in any European country where our operations are established.
