About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mergers and Acquisitions Specialist to join our Global M&A team at Syngenta Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in driving our strategic growth and shaping the future of food production worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and implementation of the Group M&A strategy, identifying and screening M&A opportunities with global scope.
  • Lead selected streams or phases of M&A transactions, assessing the value creation potential of acquisition, divestiture, and alliance proposals.
  • Develop robust business cases and financial models, and draft presentations and reporting documents to update the Executive Team on the progress of transactions.
  • Manage the due diligence process, working with a project team consisting of 10-100 individuals plus external advisers.
  • Participate in initial planning of post-merger integration and ensure team adherence to regulations, corporate governance, and corporate policies.
Requirements
  • Between 2 and 4 years of experience in M&A execution, end-to-end.
  • Experience working in a multifunctional and multicultural matrix organization.
  • Experience in Project and Portfolio Management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal relationship-building skills.
  • Financial and accounting knowledge.
