UX Designer Job Description

We are seeking a talented UX Designer to join our team at Board. As a UX Designer, you will play a crucial role in defining UX Board Best Practices and templates, and supporting customers in the field to turn our software into easy-to-use products for our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Create user-centered dashboard designs by understanding business requirements, customer feedback, and capabilities of Board.
  • Develop UX mockups and prototypes that clearly show how applications work and look like.
  • Illustrate design concepts, use sitemaps, process flows, and storyboards to communicate design ideas.
  • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems, such as responsiveness and performance issues.
  • Collaborate with CS teams to propose and apply layout adjustments based on user feedback.
  • Define and adhere to style standards on fonts, colors, and images.
  • Participate in the project lifecycle, from gathering requirements to implementation, according to the project's needs.
  • Assist the Board Pre-sales Team during the preparation of a Proof of Concept (POC) and product demonstrations.
  • Acquire and maintain deep product knowledge and skills.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in design, computer science, or a related field.
  • Work experience as a UX software designer or in a related role.
  • Ability to work against tight target dates in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong team player with good interpersonal skills and client-facing abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Critical thinking, decision making, problem solving, and attention to detail.
  • Availability to travel.
