The Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Platform Architect to join our dynamic team. As a Cloud Platform Architect, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions, with a focus on Salesforce SFDC and cross-cloud migrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Cloud Architecture Expertise: Demonstrate a solid understanding of the architectural principles of cloud-based platforms, including SaaS, PaaS, multitenancy, multi-tiered infrastructure, integration patterns, and application servers.
- Cloud Solution Design: Utilize this knowledge to design and develop scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutions.
- Release Management and Deployment: Possess hands-on experience with release management, source control, and deployment technologies, such as CI/CD pipelines, Metadata API, and integration services.
- Cross-Cloud Migration: Showcase proficiency in executing cross-cloud migrations, particularly with Salesforce SFDC and other Cloud providers, such as AWS and Alibaba Cloud.
- Platform Design Considerations: Exhibit awareness of platform-specific design considerations, including handling large data volumes, allocation limits, and data migration challenges.
- Business Acumen: Display a strong understanding of business processes and objectives to design cloud solutions that meet business requirements effectively.
Requirements
- Education: Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
- Experience: Have over 5 years experience as a Cloud Platform Architect or similar role.
- Skills: Possess strong expertise in Salesforce SFDC and cross-cloud migration with experience in AWS, Alibaba Cloud, or other major cloud providers, and in-depth knowledge of cloud architectural principles, SaaS, PaaS, integration patterns, and application servers.
