The Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Platform Architect to join our dynamic team. As a Cloud Platform Architect, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions, with a focus on Salesforce SFDC and cross-cloud migrations.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Architecture Expertise
- Design and develop scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutions, leveraging your expertise in cloud architectural principles, including SaaS, PaaS, multitenancy, multi-tiered infrastructure, integration patterns, and application servers.
- Utilize your hands-on experience with release management, source control, and deployment technologies, such as CI/CD pipelines, Metadata API, and integration services, to ensure smooth and efficient deployment of applications and updates in the cloud environment.
- Facilitate seamless integration and data migration between different cloud platforms, particularly with Salesforce SFDC and other Cloud providers, such as AWS and Alibaba Cloud.
- Exhibit awareness of platform-specific design considerations, including handling large data volumes, allocation limits, and data migration challenges, and proactively identify potential technical design risks to develop governance strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Display a strong understanding of business processes and objectives to design cloud solutions that meet business requirements effectively, and exhibit a professional demeanor and executive presence, as you may be required to present architectural plans and strategies to top management level and decision-makers.
Requirements
- Education
- You hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
- You have over 5 years experience as a Cloud Platform Architect or similar role.
- You have strong expertise in Salesforce SFDC and cross-cloud migration with experience in AWS, Alibaba Cloud, or other major cloud providers, along with in-depth knowledge of cloud architectural principles, SaaS, PaaS, integration patterns, and application servers.
- You are proficient in release management, source control, and deployment technologies like CI/CD pipelines, Metadata API, and integration services.
