Job Summary

Air Products and Chemicals is seeking a highly experienced Project Management Office (PMO) Manager to join our team. As a key member of the Project Management team, you will be responsible for driving project execution excellence within IG Plant Operations projects for Europe and Africa.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain project execution functional processes, procedures, and templates to support project execution excellence.
  • Review and improve existing work processes, templates, tools, reporting, training, and auditing to drive better and more consistent approach to execution.
  • Collaborate with the Plant Project Organisation (PPO) Manager and the Project, Maintenance and Materials management Director to identify areas for improvement, develop solutions, and drive project execution performance.
  • Develop strong working relationships with the European Engineering team, and Sub Regional teams.
  • Communicate effectively at all levels and possess excellent IT skills.

Requirements

  • At least 15 years of project management experience in the industrial gases, oil, and gas industry.
  • Experience in projects on greenfield and brownfield sites.
  • Strong focus on work process/procedures and experience of developing and improving work practices.
  • Ability to communicate successfully at all levels.
  • Excellent IT skills.

Project Overview

The PPO Organisation is responsible for the execution of capital projects associated with existing operating assets in Europe and Africa. The projects range from plant debottlenecking, equipment replacement, plant modification, life extension up to new plant builds.
