Senior Cybersecurity Specialist

WorldITFinder, a leader in IT segment selection, recruitment, and headhunting, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team and lead our efforts in securing our infrastructure and data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies and initiatives to protect the company's digital assets.
  • Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability testing, and penetration tests to identify potential risks and security breaches.
  • Monitor and analyze security events and incidents, respond to security threats in real-time, and manage incident response processes.
  • Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures in compliance with industry regulations and best practices (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST).
  • Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure secure software development practices and to integrate security into the DevOps process.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to senior management on emerging cybersecurity threats and the implementation of security technologies.
  • Lead security awareness training programs for employees to foster a culture of cybersecurity across the organization.
  • Stay current with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technology advancements.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • At least 7-10 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a proven track record in a senior or leadership role.
  • Extensive knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS).
  • Proficiency in security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, encryption, and identity and access management (IAM) tools.
  • Experience with cloud security, particularly in environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, architectures, and security solutions.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and act decisively in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
