Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Specialist to enhance our FP&A team dedicated to the Southern Europe region.

Reporting directly to the Management Control Manager for Southern Europe, the FP&A Specialist will share responsibility for all FP&A activities, including:

  • Budget formulation and oversight
  • Performance evaluation and management
  • Cost efficiency initiatives
  • Ad hoc financial analyses for the Southern Europe region, encompassing Spain, Italy, and Portugal

The selected individual will engage with various monthly reporting deadlines for regional country managers and the overarching Group, which includes:

  • Reviewing and managing financial closing processes
  • Preparing comprehensive business reviews
  • Conducting reforecasts and developing business plans

This role is pivotal in coordinating the financial oversight of the region and serves as a liaison between the Group and the Southern Europe zone, necessitating daily interactions with both parties.

Core Duties

Budgeting and Reforecasting:

  • Jointly responsible for the budgeting process
  • Enhancing existing procedures
  • Generating and presenting analytical reports

Financial Closing:

  • Reviewing and analyzing financial closings for the Southern Europe countries
  • Acting as a primary contact for the Group's FP&A team
  • Collaborating closely with the Southern Europe accounting team
  • Providing pre-closing analyses and feedback to accounting teams
  • Delivering insights to country managers for both the zone and the Group

FP&A IT Systems:

  • Suggesting improvements for planning and reporting tools in collaboration with the Group FP&A teams
  • Serving as a key user of Power BI
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree in Business Administration or Engineering
  • 3 to 5 years of professional experience in FP&A, with regular interaction with operational teams
  • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with other IT tools such as D365, Anaplan, and Power BI

Given the frequent communication with countries in the Iberia zone and the Group, fluency in English is essential.

The candidate should demonstrate:

  • Attention to detail and responsiveness
  • Ability to meet deadlines and commitments

Soft Skills: Rigor, autonomy, strong interpersonal skills, analytical mindset, initiative, and the ability to provide recommendations.
