Principal Network Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Network Architect to join our team at Gartner. As a key member of our network engineering team, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing high-performance network architectures that support our global operations.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement network architectures that meet the needs of our global operations, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize network requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and maintain network documentation, including architecture diagrams, configuration files, and technical guides.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, working closely with network operations and engineering teams.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to network performance and reliability optimization.
- 12+ years of information technology experience, with a desired 7+ years in a relevant network performance engineering role or similar position providing comprehensive support of critical multi-tier applications.
- Deep understanding of cloud computing, network protocols, network topologies, network components, and corresponding performance indicators.
- Proficiency in network packets analysis and experience working with NPM tools like Extrahop, Riverbed AppResponse, LiveAction, etc.
- Experience working with network monitoring tools like PRTG, Solarwinds, etc.
- Exceptional analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with a high degree of initiative and determination.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science or a related field required.
