About the Role

**Job Summary:**

Sin Nombre is seeking a highly skilled M&A Analyst to join its Finance organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing finance input to transactions throughout the transaction process, including structuring, valuation, due diligence, and support to negotiations and documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Offer expert and unbiased guidance to senior management to facilitate decision-making regarding M&A valuations on specific transactions.
  • Assist in the development and execution of M&A transactions through comprehensive financial analysis, including constructing and utilizing intricate financial models, conducting risk and uncertainty assessments, and generating financial statements.
  • Source and oversee valuation inputs from various internal and external sources, providing advice on identified gaps, deficiencies, and risks.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members in specialized areas.
  • Contribute to ongoing enhancements of processes and methodologies to establish a center of excellence for valuation within the company.
  • Undertake ad hoc financial analysis tasks, such as transfer pricing assessments, impairment reviews, Shareek incentives evaluations, and group policy reviews.
  • Oversee external Financial Advisors and consultants for valuation activities on transactions, cultivating relationships with banks to offer external insights on the M&A landscape to the company.
Requirements
  • Accumulate over 10 years of relevant experience in conducting financial analysis for M&A transactions, typically acquired in leading investment banks, accounting firms, or large international corporations.
  • Demonstrate significant involvement in large and intricate cross-border transactions within the energy or natural resources sectors.
  • Possess expert-level proficiency in financial analysis tools and methodologies, with a solid understanding of financial statements, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and international taxation.
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Management, or Engineering; while an advanced business degree (e.g., MBA) or Accounting qualification is preferred, it's not mandatory.
  • Exhibit strong numerical skills, coupled with methodical organization and adaptability to challenging and dynamic work environments, capable of managing competing priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Display confident communication skills, both verbal and written, and excel as a team player, swiftly integrating into diverse teams and offering experience in coaching and mentoring other team members.
