About the Role

The Business Technology Leader is a key member of our Client Engineering agile team, responsible for driving business outcomes and delivering client value. This role requires a strong understanding of business strategy and technology innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with Account Technical Leaders, Customer Support Managers, and IBM Services to identify and qualify business opportunities for Client Engineering.
  • Engage in experiential selling with clients to co-create solutions that deliver measurable business value outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Account Teams to identify and prioritize business opportunities and develop business cases.
  • Develop and execute business value assets, such as business value assessments and ROI calculators, to demonstrate the value of IBM's technology.
  • Work with client business stakeholders to understand their business needs and develop strategies to deliver business outcomes.
  • Propose IBM product extensions and linkages to solve client business challenges.
  • Translate client needs into actionable strategies and roadmaps.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of business strategy and technology innovation.
  • Excellent listening, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English.
  • System Thinking and Business Component Modeling skills to understand client business domains.
  • Agile Practitioner and Design Thinking Practitioner certifications.
  • Strong technical knowledge of IBM's Strategic Technology Themes, including Hybrid Cloud, AI, Quantum, Sustainability, Analyze/Modernize/Secure/Automate.
