Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer Leader to join our team at Bertrandt. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the development of complex systems and ensuring that our projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Manage and motivate a team of engineers to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure that projects are delivered to the highest standards.
  • Project Planning: Develop and implement project plans to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Specification Development: Develop and maintain technical specifications for complex systems.
  • Validation and Verification: Ensure that systems are validated and verified to meet customer requirements.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure that project goals and objectives are understood and met.
Requirements
  • Education: Electronic/industrial engineering or similar.
  • Experience: Previous experience in automotive (minimum 2 to 3 years), particularly in engine systems engineering (safety) and vehicle architecture.
  • Skills: General knowledge of control GMP thermal (gasoline), hybrid (air loop, combustion, OBD, post-treatment...) and electrical. Experience in drafting specifications and validation plans. Good knowledge of DOORS. Good level of English and French.
