About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team at EPAM. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and operating data pipelines using Databricks and other ETL tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-quality data pipelines using Databricks and other ETL tools
  • Integrate datasets for analytical use cases
  • Enable other data teams to follow client standards
  • Test and maintain existing data pipelines

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks or similar ETL tools
  • Apache Spark, PySpark, and Python expertise
  • AWS Glue and Amazon S3 experience
  • GitHub and CI/CD knowledge
  • MicroStrategy or similar analytical tool experience

Nice to Have

  • Advanced Databricks skills, such as delta, cluster configuration, or mlflow
  • Experience with integrating sources like websites, Exasol, REST APIs, SAP, BigQuery, GSheets, Salesforce, Jedox, and more
  • Data Quality expertise
  • Apache NiFi knowledge
  • Java experience
