About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and visionary Technical Director to lead the development of our gaming platform Seedify using Unreal Engine 5, with a focus on Unreal 5 technology with Web 3 integration.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic technical leadership and direction for the development of the gaming platform.
- Make key technical decisions that align with business goals and project requirements.
- Develop and maintain a technical roadmap that outlines the steps needed to achieve short-term and long-term project goals.
- Foster collaboration between the engineering team and other departments such as art, design, and business.
- Identify potential technical risks and create mitigation strategies to address them.
- Encourage and lead the exploration of new technologies and methodologies.
- Work closely with the QA team to ensure that technical solutions meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
- Provide mentorship to senior engineers.
- Oversee the technical budget.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in game development, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership role.
- Extensive experience with Unreal Engine 5 is essential.
- Extensive hands-on experience in leading AAA game development projects.
- Proficiency in C++, Blueprints, and Unreal Engine development.
- Strong understanding of front-end technologies and back-end technologies.
- Solid experience in multiple aspects of game technology development.
- Strong understanding of software development processes.
