Job Title: Frontend Developer with Accessibility Expertise

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Frontend Developer with expertise in Web Accessibility to join our team. As a Frontend Developer with Accessibility Expertise, you will be responsible for ensuring that our web applications are accessible to all users, including those with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct web accessibility audits on home pages, Product Detail Pages (PDP), and Product Listing Pages (PLP) to identify areas for improvement.
  • Review and update websites to ensure 100% WCAG A & AA compliance, collaborating with the development and design teams to create accessible features.
  • Implement code fixes and improvements to ensure keyboard navigation, screen reader compatibility, and accessible design.
  • Conduct manual and automated testing to ensure compliance across all platforms.
  • Provide regular reports on accessibility compliance and progress to stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Frontend Development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Deep understanding of WCAG (A, AA) compliance and web accessibility best practices.
  • Proficiency in using accessibility testing tools such as Axe Dev Tools, Wave, Monsido, DEQUE, VoiceOver Mac, and Google Lighthouse.
  • Experience with Product Detail Pages (PDP) and Product Listing Pages (PLP) in e-commerce environments.
  • Ability to perform web accessibility audits, and implement code-level fixes.
  • Strong communication skills and experience working in international, remote teams.
  • Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including UX, product, and development teams.
  • Fluent in English (knowledge of French or Spanish is a plus).
