Job Title: Procurement Category Manager France

Our client is a global leader in innovative packaging solutions. As a Procurement Category Manager, you will join a dynamic team within a truly international working environment collaborating with plants in Spain, France, and Portugal.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a local procurement strategy to improve the company's profitability, quality, and project terms.
  • Lead and execute procurement strategies for the suppliers' panel in your category, developing, promoting, globalizing, or substituting.
  • Further develop the category strategy, risk management, and reverse engineering to understand better supply cost structure and supplier development in general.
  • Install KPIs at all levels to monitor the implementation strategy.
  • Support business development activities and other value-adding cross-sectional projects from a purchasing perspective.
  • Set up state-of-the-art purchasing standards to implement the procurement category strategy.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or Supply Chain, or equivalent education.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position in the industrial sector, preferably in the packaging industry.
  • Fluent in English, French, and Spanish (Portuguese is a plus, but not a must).
  • Proficient in Office.
  • Willingness to travel in France, Spain, and Portugal (up to 30-40%).
